Developer Treyarch has put out the PC system requirements to play the COD5 World at War.
Call of Duty: World at War Minimum System Requirements
CPU: AMD 64 3200+/Intel Pentium 4 3.0GHz or better
Memory: 8 GB free hard-drive space, 512MB RAM (XP)/1GB RAM (Vista)
Graphics: Shader 3.0 or better, 256MB Nvidia GeForce 6600GT/ATI Radeon 1600XT or better

ok my laptop meets all the system requirements on the box of cod5 for pc and when im in the game menu it doesn’t lag but when im in game playing or doing missions the game lags but still playable? does that mean i cant play it on my laptop and is there a way to fix it…….. here are my system details my laptop is intel core 2 duo cpu t5450 @ 1.66ghz 1.67ghz i hav 2 gigs of ram and i hav more then 8 gigs of free space |

The only two things you can easily do to your laptop are upgrade the RAM to 4 GB and upgrade the hard drive to a 5400 RPM or 7200 RPM model. I can tell you though, you can’t really play games on a laptop unless it has discrete graphics. It it has Intel GMA graphics, it’s not worth playing hardcore games on. |

my laptop acer is intel core 2 duo cpu t5450 @ 1.66ghz 1.67ghz i hav 2 gigs of ram and thats all good and so is my gfx its all good and i hav 8gigs of free space on my hard drive but it says i need 3 ghz or better to play cod5( on the back of the box) so does that mean 1.66 or 1.67 wont do it? or is it the lower the ghz the better? i dont know about ghz? |
