I would like to buy a PC gaming computer and I have about $1000 to spend. I want to play the game “Dragon Age: Origins” but I don’t know how to compare system requirements. Any suggestions?

I checked the system requirements online and my PC can play the game on low and medium qualities.
What I want to know is if it is like any other famous RPG games. If I liked Fable, Oblivion, and the Witcher then would I like this?

It is in line with Bioware’s previous work, though I would say not quite as good as Knights of the Old Republic. Perhaps that is because KotOR was based in the Star Wars universe, or that great twist at the end…

If you liked the titles you listed, I think you will like Dragon Age.

i bought a new computer, i know what the system requirements are but im not good at really comparing them and telling how well it would run a game. this is my system
    Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 @ 2.50GHz
    4 gb ram
video card: NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS
    os:vist 64-bit
please let me know, if it cant run it well i dont want to waste my money on the game.

Yes, you would be able to run Dragon Age Origins.

I know the required for PC using vista/windows 7 as os,to run Dragon Age: Origins is 1.5 gb ram ,and i’m a programmer and understand what that means. But by any chance i wanna hear if anyone was able to run it using 1 gb ram only under vista jkust like mine, considering surpassing all system requirements beyond minimum and some surpassing even the recommended.
