	somebody has ask how to build them a pc that can run FSX on highest settings. I need answers from people who actually own the game only please. Any idiot can go look up recommended specs, bit Flight Simulator X has a reputation for being very hard to play on highest settings, even on powerful computers. Can anyone run FSX on highest? If so, what are your system req?

I would say go for a laptop made by Asus but pay close attention to processor speed because that really makes all the difference. The Asus G71V-X2 is supposed to be pretty sweet, any laptop that has a nvidia geforce 9800 in it is okay by me. It runs about 1,200 though. If you are looking at something a bit cheaper go for the Toshiba Qosmio X305 it has a 9700 but 4gb of ram and a great processor. I believe that ones about 900.

I recently put together a system using :
i7 930
P6TD Deluxe MB
6Gig Ram DDR3 @ 1600
Sapphire Vapor X 1Gig DDR5 vid card….
Win 7
Nothing overclocked at this time.

I put this system together to specifically run FSX & X Plane 9.
Ran everything at highest setting & it ran with no problems whatsoever..! I even have it running over 3 monitors using Matrox …
I have not done any deeper analysis just yet ie FPS rates etc, but I can say it runs beautifully..
