I have recently installed Mass Effect and My PC spec’s surpasses its all recommended system requirements.
But when I play the game, the game starts but when the company logos are coming they appear very slowly(it feels like my computer not responding).
I just press enter and enter again until main menu appears and then start the game but at some places the game also runs slow (like the decryption mini game, or while simply just roaming around the places or while fighting with multiple enemies).
I don’t know what’s the problem, according to me if my PC matches their recommended system requirements then the game should run smoothly but it’s not.

Can i play Mass Effect, Gears of War if I can play Crysis Warhead on Low?

I think you should be able to play it.
Crysis needs pretty good requirements, so Mass Effect at least should be easy to play on it. Gears of War probably though aswell.

The system requirements for mass effect say that it is reccomend you have a 2gb ram for vista. I don’t want to spend all that money for 2gb ram, If I got a 1gb ram would the gameplay still be nice and smooth with the ability to keep the good grahpics and details along with the game to be fast and not slowing down or lagging?
